You Know Who... Is Trying to Avoid Repetition

Oscar Peterson
Given that I am locked in the cycle of doing shows on the same date as two years ago, I am trying to avoid playing the same things I did then (in terms of birthday people and recordings from this day). Perhaps I should congratulate myself on playing only two songs that I have played before. Also, maybe I should talk to my therapist about the obsessive-compulsive tendency that make me feel like it really matters. In any event, today was chock full of good tunes. The standouts for me were the Les Dudek songs that I had never heard before.
