You Know Who... Is Searching for a Connection

Terje Rypdal

Started off today with a few more records from the trip. Having blown through most of the Italian prog rock, the unifying theme of the first part of today’s show (if it can be said that there was one), was English artists who are… I don’t know. I suppose a little off-center? The tunes from this day in history were pretty multifarious, genre-wise, including a couple of artists I’d never played before or paid enough attention to. That segment ended with a nice one-two punch of Dio, which was pretty groovy. To be honest, though, I think that internet issues messed things up the flow of the show a bit, and by the end, I kind of ran out of steam. I pulled a couple of nice cuts out of the back-burners and called it a day.
