You Know Who… Didn’t Need That Shot of Tequila

What is there to say? I didn’t listen back to the whole thing, but here are some things I noticed when doing a quick fix on the audio track before posting: Firstly, evidently, I forgot that a “watch band” was a thing, but I still maintain that The Chocolate Watchband is one of the worst band names I’ve ever heard. Secondly, somehow the subject of Elvis came up, and I stand behind the sentiment (though poorly expressed) that once Elvis put on the jumpsuit, he almost immediately went from being a slick, dangerous rocker, to being a bloated, red-neck lounge singer.
I really don’t remember much else of what we talked about, so listen at your own peril. However, looking at the playlist, there are some sweet tunes to be heard. Plus, if you listen to the end, Larry Coryell has a funny anecdote about how Alphonse Mouzon teaches “The Funky Waltz” to students. So… Enjoy?
