You Know Who... Hasn't Eaten Today

"Cow Milked While Flying in an Airplane Day" is celebrated annually on February 18 to commemorate the day in 1930 when a cow named Nellie Jay became the first cow to be flown and milked in an airplane. The event was part of a scientific effort to study the effect of height on cows’ ability to produce milk. In the 72-mile flight over Bismarck, Missouri, Nellie’s milk was put in paper cartons and parachuted down to the spectators to generate publicity.

Today is also the 53rd anniversary of the first episode of the King Biscuit Flower Hour.

I’m sure it’s the thing about the cow, though, that will be invading your dreams tonight.

There was music played today, too (some of it about cows).
