You Know Who... Is Fried (Again)

Brett's back, and that means
more of this guy...

Oh man, I neither trick or treated on Saturday nor did I run the marathon yesterday. As with most adult LIC dwellers, it was basically a weekend of heavy drinking, so if I sound like I’m dragging, that’s why. Thankfully, Brett was here to rally me and buoy my spirits.

The unifying theme for his tunes this week was songs from movies that he loved (it wasn’t a hard theme to guess, once he told me to stop overthinking it). It made for a pretty mellow beginning of the show. There was some folkier, singer/songwriter-ish stuff along with some doo-wop, some neo-renaissance type stuff, and classical jazz/funk.

By contrast, my picks this week were almost entirely of a harder variety: Blues rock, punk rock, cock rock, and… well, a little Depeche Mode, too.
